> The Tyrer Framework, the Zero Information Casualty (ZIC) design standard, and the three essays of the Carrados corpus.

The Tyrer Framework is a theoretical model describing accessibility as a property of information systems rather than an accommodation for particular users. Zero Information Casualty (ZIC) is the practical engineering standard derived from its principles: where the Framework explains why information casualties occur, ZIC defines how websites and digital systems can be built to prevent them.

Three essays complete the Carrados corpus of theory. They are a sequence.

- [The Tyrer Framework](https://carrados.com/papers/tyrer-framework/index.md): The Tyrer Framework: accessibility as information integrity. A diagnostic law, a civilisational scale, a design doctrine, and an analysis of the structural break introduced by artificial intelligence. By Charli-Jo Tyrer.
- [Zero Information Casualty (ZIC) v1.5](https://carrados.com/papers/zic-design-standard/index.md): The Zero Information Casualty (ZIC) design standard, version 1.5: an agent-first web specification under which no person — reading directly, using assistive technology, or acting through a sent agent — loses access to public meaning.
- [Why Accessibility Keeps Getting Worse — and Why, for the First Time, It Might Not](https://carrados.com/papers/classical-and-generative-accessibility/index.md) (3 January 2026): The Tyrer Framework in plain language: why accessibility erodes, the ladder from visual dominance to perceptual sovereignty, and the fork AI puts in front of us. By Charli-Jo Tyrer.
- [The API Is the UI Now](https://carrados.com/papers/the-api-is-the-ui-now/index.md) (14 June 2026): A quiet note on a framework, an architecture Salesforce built for its own reasons, and a first-class screen reader rendering a blind Salesforce user could have now. By Charli-Jo Tyrer.
- [The Insurance That Never Pays Out](https://carrados.com/papers/the-insurance-that-never-pays-out/index.md) (26 June 2026): The Agentic AI Foundation just published the best case for accessibility-as-architecture in years — and then prescribed keeping the exact layer its own witness says never catches up. A reply. By Charli-Jo Tyrer.

The Framework and the standard are also available as Word documents: [The Tyrer Framework](https://carrados.com/documents/The_Tyrer_Framework.docx) and [Zero Information Casualty v1.5](https://carrados.com/documents/Zero_Information_Casualty_v1_5.docx).
