The Tyrer Framework is a theoretical model describing accessibility as a property of information systems rather than an accommodation for particular users. Zero Information Casualty (ZIC) is the practical engineering standard derived from its principles: where the Framework explains why information casualties occur, ZIC defines how websites and digital systems can be built to prevent them.

Three essays complete the Carrados corpus of theory. They are a sequence.

The Framework and the standard are also available as Word documents: The Tyrer Framework and Zero Information Casualty v1.5.
